Pumpkins After Dark is a family friendly fall festival. The event is an art installation walk-through with 6000+ hand-carved pumpkin displays.

Opportunities
Task: Welcoming attendees & scanning tickets in a fast-paced environment.
Skills/Requirements: Customer service role; must be knowledgeable about the event, friendly and outgoing attitude.
Minimum Age: 16
Pay: $16/hour
Task: Greeting attendees, directing lineups, answering questions, controlling timed ticket entry.
Skills/Requirements: Friendly, strong communication skills, ability to stand for long periods of time.
Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.
Minimum Age: 16
Pay: $16/hour
Task: Sell event products in the merchandise store, interacting with guests and assisting with purchases. Responsible for restocking and display of merchandise. Set-up and take down merchandise daily.
Skills/Requirements: Friendly and enthusiastic. Experience handling cash, credit, and debit transactions (Square experience an asset). Sales experience is an asset. Physical strength (20lbs). Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.
Minimum Age: 16
Schedule: This position starts 45 minutes prior to opening
Pay: $16/hour
Task: Interacting with attendees in the store, selling pumpkins, restocking the pumpkins, keeping the store clean & tidy.
Skills/Requirements: Friendly & outgoing, experience handling cash, credit, and debit transactions (Square experience is an asset). Sales experience is an asset. Physical strength and mobility
Minimum Age: 16
Pay: $16/hour
Task: Welcoming guests to the pumpkin pathway, ticket taker, directing attendees, answering questions, assisting guests access the pathway. Will act as a floater to cover other roles when needed.
Skills/Requirements: Friendly, outgoing, ability to speak loudly. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Willingness to learn other roles to assist as floater when needed. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.
Minimum Age: 16
Pay: $16/hour
Task: Monitor pumpkin pathway, assist in the flow of traffic through the event, monitor for possible safety concerns, keeping guests on designated path, customer service.
Skills/Requirements: Friendly, outgoing, ability to speak loudly. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

Pay: $16/hour
Task: Interacting with attendees at the maze & games area, queuing lineups, and scanning tickets. Selling maze passes on square POS.
Skills/Requirements: Friendly & outgoing, experience handling cash, credit, and debit transactions (Square experience is an asset).

Team Lead Opportunities
Task: Oversee team of staff in box office area. Ensure all team members are signed in and out of their shifts, all positions are covered, assist staff in busy times, provide customer service in times of guest concerns and questions.
Skills/Requirements: Leadership and strong communication skills, friendly and outgoing attitude, ability to identify issues and concerns with staff and guests, knowledgeable about the event, ability to troubleshoot technology concerns (ticket scanning equipment).
Minimum Age: 18
Pay: $18/hour
This position also requires an Assistant Team Lead.
As an assistant team lead you will preform all duties of the Box Office & Ticket Scanning role and cover the team lead position if necessary.
Task: Managing the merchandise store, interacting with guests, and assisting with purchases. Oversee team of staff in merchandise area. Ensure all team members are signed in and out of their shifts; all positions are covered. Responsible for inventory and stock of merchandise store. Set-up and take down merchandise daily.
Skills/Requirements: Leadership and strong communication skills, friendly and enthusiastic, experience handling cash, credit, and debit transactions (Square experience is an asset). Sales experience is an asset. Responsible for the cash count at the end of each night. Ability to identify issues and concerns with staff and guests. Physical strength (20lbs). Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

Ensure all team members are signed in and out of their shifts; all positions are covered. Assist management in lighting displays, filling fog machines, turning on music and other special effects. Assist management of pathway closing procedures.
Skills/Requirements: Leadership and strong communication skills, ability to identify issues and concerns with staff and guests. Physical strength (30lbs). Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Proper attire – this is an outdoor position.

As an assistant team lead you will preform all duties of the Pathway Patrol role and cover the team lead position if necessary.
